Hotel type hair dryers are designed to be hung on the wall near the mirror in the hotel bathroom and to allow easy access for the customer.
Investors often do not attach much importance to the purchase process of hotel type hair dryers. However, being an electrical handheld device used by thousands of different hands and being used in wet environments such as bathrooms and saunas make the product a critical factor. Therefore, hotel type hair dryers are industrial products rather than small home appliances, and purchasing preferences should be made with this awareness.
Wrong choices made with a focus on low cost production and procurement principles can cause service interruptions due to the constant replacement of the product in hotel rooms. Additionally, considering that the product is constantly connected to electricity, there may be a fire risk.
Hotel type hair dryers are produced with different motor powers. The most suitable ones for hotels are the 1200 watt and 1600 watt models. Hotels in the Aegean and Mediterranean regions primarily prefer the 1200 watt product due to cost and simplicity, while 1600 watt models with shaving outlets are preferred in city hotels.
What to Consider in Hotel Type Hair Dryers:
The quality of the plastic material and the resistance used,
Whether there is a quality thermostat that automatically cuts off electricity after a certain temperature,
The quality and thickness of the silicone material used in the spiral cable,
Whether the sound from the fan motor when the product is first started is light or heavy,
If the product has a shaving outlet, whether the system used in the outlet is transformer-based or simple card-based,
Whether there is a separate safety switch on the shaving outlet,
The warranty period provided for the product,
Whether the product meets the expectations of hotel guests,
And of course, the trust given by the company supplying the product to the investor.
Hotel type hair dryers are produced in two different models: wall-mounted and drawer-type.
Wall-Mounted Hair Dryer
Wall-mounted hair dryers are models fixed to the wall with dowels and screws designed for customers to easily access after taking a shower.
The most fundamental feature of wall-mounted hair dryers is that they eliminate cable clutter. The electrical connection from the wall to the machine is directly connected to the electrical connection inside the wall hanger attachment using the built-in installation method. Thus, the cable going to the 220-volt outlet disappears.
Electric current is provided through the spiral cable connection between the wall hanger attachment and the hair dryer.
Another feature of wall-mounted hair dryers is that they have 110-volt and 220-volt shaving socket outlets suitable for citizens of different countries staying in hotels. These different types of socket entries allow small handheld tools such as shavers, epilators, hair curlers, etc., to be used in the bathroom without the need for an additional plug adapter.
The most important thing to consider in hair dryers with shaving sockets is whether the socket is card-based or transformer-based.
Transformer-based systems are more correct in terms of safety and have a longer lifespan. However, card-based systems encountered in cost-focused manufacturing often cause frequent malfunctions in practice.
Drawer-Type Hair Dryers
Drawer-type hair dryers are products mainly placed in hotel bathrooms or drawers in rooms. The device gains normal household product features with the male plug socket attached to the spiral cable end coming from the hair dryer.
